What does an IBM SPSS Statistics licence cost?

It depends on the edition, the licence model, the number of users and the type of organisation; education and research have separate terms. IBM revises its price list periodically, so we do not publish figures. Request a quotation and you have an itemised proposal within one business day.

Can a company outside the Netherlands buy from DASC?

Yes. We supply organisations across the EU and EEA. Quotations and invoices are in euro; VAT-registered organisations in other EU countries are invoiced without Dutch VAT under the reverse-charge rules. All your European entities can go on one quotation.

In which language do you work?

Advice, support, training and invoicing are in English or Dutch, with a named contact during Central European office hours. You are welcome to write to us in German or French. The software's own interface is available in German and French.

Is a subscription or a perpetual licence better value?

With a subscription you pay monthly or annually, updates included, with a low entry cost. A perpetual licence is a one-off purchase with a separate maintenance agreement. With a stable user count over several years, perpetual is often cheaper; with changing teams or project work, subscription is more flexible. We model both in the quotation.

What is the difference between Base, Standard, Professional and Premium?

Editions of a perpetual licence: fixed bundles of modules, each step adding techniques. They do not apply to a subscription, where you start from Base and choose up to three add-ons. With a perpetual licence you may also add individual modules to Base, which for one or two modules is nearly always cheaper than the edition containing them.

Can DASC renew a licence we bought elsewhere?

Yes. You can renew through DASC regardless of where you bought the licence. When you move to us we check as standard whether the number of licences still matches actual use; for concurrent licences we can measure it.

Do you supply universities and public bodies?

Yes: businesses, government bodies, healthcare institutions, universities, colleges and research institutes. Education and research qualify for separate academic terms. Our quotations are suitable for procurement and tender processes, and we invoice against purchase order numbers.

How quickly can we have the software?

Once you approve the quotation we place the order with IBM. For standard licences you normally receive licence details and download instructions within a few business days, through our customer portal. Campus licences or a new licence server need more coordination; we tell you up front.

Does SPSS Statistics run on macOS?

Yes, on Windows and macOS, including Apple Silicon. Which operating system versions are supported varies per release; we verify that for your situation before you order.

What is a concurrent or network licence?

A licence server on your network shares a pool of licences. Not every user needs their own; what counts is how many people work at the same time. That is cost-effective when many staff or students use SPSS occasionally. DASC can set up and manage that server, or host one in the EU.

Tell us your country and what you need.

You get a reasoned proposal within one business day, not an automatic order.
